About Me

I am a Certified Co-Active Coach and Neurotransformational Coach, and I am also an engineer, pianist, daughter, sister, wife, and mother of two. Each of these roles contributes to the whole person I am.

My transformation journey began a few years ago when I embarked on a path of self-discovery. I realized that at the heart of our existence lies the relationship we have with ourselves and those around us. How we relate to ourselves shapes our choices, behaviors, and overall well-being, while our connections with others create the foundation of our social environment, influencing our sense of belonging, fulfillment, and happiness.

Learning to navigate these relationships is crucial for a balanced and meaningful life. By mastering effective communication, establishing healthy boundaries, and practicing empathy, we can forge deeper connections that enrich both our personal and professional experiences.

My mission is to help individuals, couples, families, and larger systems strengthen their relationships through improved communication, understanding both verbal and non-verbal cues, deepening intimacy, and guiding them through life transitions. I believe in the power of relationships and the untapped potential within each person. I am committed to uncovering the natural creativity, resourcefulness, and wholeness present within any system. I will encourage you to step outside your comfort zone because I wholeheartedly believe in your ability to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.

Testimonials

"When I recently found myself at a crossroad in my career faced with a tough choice, I knew I needed to call Paula. She is the neutral, thoughtful, reflective voice I needed. I tried talking with friends, coworkers, and family, but talking to a professional is the only thing that finally helped me make a choice I feel good about. Having a coach is an investment in my long-term success and happiness in my career, and Paula is as good as they come. Coaching is Paula's talent and I feel lucky to get to benefit from it.”

"I have been a coach for over 10 years and have worked with a lot of coaches in my life so I expect a high level of connection and skill. And so, Paula Alencar is my ‘go to’ coach. I literally can not express in words her strengths skills and capacities that have taken me to a far deeper level of development, learning and growth. Her intuition, ability to bring leadership strengths and point out my b.s. are just a few of my favorite things about working with Paula”

"Signing up with a life coach was something new and unfamiliar to me. I knew it was something I wanted to explore but I was nervous, afraid and had zero expectations. The moment I met Paula, she made the decision of having a life coach one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. Paula is so easy to talk to and has an amazing ability to bring out the deepest and biggest topics of your life which helps facilitate really meaningful coaching sessions. I’ve learned so much about myself and discovered personal growth with Paula not only through productive coaching sessions, but with a lot of key takeaways and exercises that immediately impacted my day to day life and ultimately helped me create the best version of myself. I’m excited and eager to continue my journey with Paula as my coach.”

"Working with Paula over the last six months has been a life changing experience. Our sessions were on Zoom, and somehow, every session, I felt like she was able to connect with me and get right to the heart of the matter. The biggest breakthrough I had was around breaking habits of putting everyone else’s needs before my own. She helped me recognise that I had choices about how I spent my time, who I work with, who I’m friends with and supported me so that I was able to safely make some major changes in my life. The impact of the work has continued long after the sessions - and the way she helped me shift my perspective was so powerful, that I continue to be able to prioritise my own needs - and live with much healthier habits in my relationships. Thank you!”
